Manda de Laos: A romantic little restaurant set atop a pond stocked with carp and water lilies. Concentrate here on the salads—banana blossom with chicken; shredded fish with mint and shallots—which are refreshing and subtle. The rice pudding, which comes with a suite of toppings, is very good as well.
